THE BIG STORY: GOOD/BAD NEWS! Typhoon YUTU IS only slightly affected BY THE JetStream! The JetStream has moved significantly! YUTU has INCREASED in Strength to CAT5 again. YUTU is now predicted to cross at northern Luzon near Ilagan City as a CAT3-4 storm. The models are now agreeing and if the typhoon follows this path, the eye will go across land and it will collapse to a CAT1-3 still with significant damage, but no where near the damage that could have been caused! It is predicted to hit our shore on 10/29-10/30 and after crossing Luzon it will head for Hong Kong area, destination not yet defined. The Batanes and Taiwan have been spared a direct hit.
POSSIBLE OTHER UPDATES AS CONDITIONS CHANGE AND WARRANT AN UPDATE.
PHILIPPINES weather will cloud over as the outer bands begin to affect our weather through the night with possible popup showers later. AREAS AFFECTED: Northern Luzon from Baguio north across Luzon MUST PREPARE NOW; store enough water and food for 2 weeks. Electricity will be lost. Make sure your cell phone is charged and shut off during the storm. USE ONLY for emergencies! Please seek a CEMENT STRUCTURE to go through this storm. Flooding and LANDSLIDES are a concern! HEAVY RAIN will most likely occur as far south as Manila or further south.

HEALTH ISSUES:

It is still growing and tearing flesh, very painful! Equipment has arrived, ancillary items purchased, returned one item & waiting for replacement.
