THE BIG STORY: Tropical storm Yagi is breaking up and spin-off storms are gathering on our east coast. I must watch these closely to see if they form an LPA. The storms north of Guam have formed another typhoon as expected, typhoon 19! The weak LPA over Vietnam intially which moved along the southern coast of China has broken up into two LPA's. The one centered over Macao is breaking up and creating spin-off storms which are being pulled across the Philippines Ilocos region.
PHILIPPINE weather for today is spotted rain showers in the northern half and increasing sun with popup shower throughout the rest of the nation. Ilocos region will continue to have HEAVY RAIN DOWNPOURS today and expected through Wednesday.
Vietnam weather has once again shown a weak LPA over the northern half of the country. Spotted rain showers are expected todat in the north.
