THE BIG STORY: We currently still have an LPA centered over Hong Kong that is drawing storms from Laos and Vietnam. Next typhoon we may have to deal with is Tropical Depression 25 to the east of Guam.
PHILIPPINE weather is a weak LPA, but it is bringing a lot of moisture over northern Luzon. It looks bad but much of the moisture IS NOT reaching the ground according to the weather data stations we have in the area. TD 25 DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE A THREAT TO THE PHILIPPINES at this time. We will keep an eye on it and report. Expect overcast with high clouds most of the day. The sun will peak through at times and give us our normal warm weather!
GUAM weather is returning to normal with an eye on the TD 25 as it approaches!
VIETNAM weather is quiet and clam as storms zip across the nation to join the LPA over northern Luzon, Philippines.
OTHER NEWS: The southern JetStream is returning to normal patterns. We hope that LPA over the Philippines and TD 25 won't upset that.
