Update 8-8-2018 0604hrs;

We will be posting ONLY on the Blog soon; copy this website URL https://sirpixalotweather.blogspot.com/ NOTICE NEW FEATURES: At top right see a sidebar Translate; you select your language. Also, Archives for older posts. I am trying to get sharing capability with Facebook, we already have with Twitter. There are other options like RSFeed options etc., I am still exploring. But fb has limited my abilities to post long enough. Now, Zuckerberg is selling his stock which means the future of fb is in question. I may just close my account. Please EVERYONE Bookmark this URL. It IS the future of Weather Update by Sir Pixalot.

THE BIG STORY: Typhoon 18 has changed predicted path and is no longer expected to hit Japan, but China. Typhoon Shanshan is nearing Japan and it's outer bands are hitting Tokyo. The northern JetStream has returned to normal strength and will push typhoon Shanshan away from Japan before its eyewall can make landfall.

PHILIPPINE weather is still affected by storms being pulled into these typhoons. Especially in northern Luzon. We have no data stations in northern Luzon, but by all signs of activity as seen from Sat view no rain is hitting the ground there.
Functional Data stations across the country are reporting no rain. However, expect the usual popup showers through the day at somewhat normal hours combined with showers as a result of the storms being pulled across us that feed the typhoons.

GUAM is quieting down but still being hit with storms being pulled into Shanshan.

VIETNAM is returning to normal storm patterns. However weather in southern Vietnam and Cambodia is affected by a weak LPA that has formed in that area. It is pulling storms from the east sea over the country and creating rain events.

I still need local weather watchers to help with our local conditions reporting. I will post another video shortly that shows conditions of ALL weather stations in the Philippines. SO MANY are NOT reporting rain it makes it difficult to say with conviction that no rain is falling around our nation. Also, with NO DATA STATIONS across northern Luzon or Samar and so many other inhabited islands it is especially hard to produce a valid report. We NEED local input on a daily basis. We can justify local reports at hours other than our early morning report. So if you can help in local reporting most of the time - we NEED your help!
We have grown to nearly 2950 followers! Please continue to WATCH & SHARE the videos! Thank you for sharing & helping us grow.

Be safe.

I was going to make a second post today. However, I have read what Zuckerberg is doing and thought it was time to spend more effort on this Blog.
This second video shows the list of Data Centers in the Philippines AND the rain status AT THE TIME OF THE VIDEO. NOTICE: SO MANY stations are broken; and therefore are NOT reporting weather conditions!  THIS is why we NEED local Weather Watchers that will send me information regarding their local conditions. I am searching for a way to have you also send a video from 15-60 seconds MAX that I can include in the report. I had received videos from some followers; but they had their Facebook account details attached, so as I promised, I DID NOT SHARE! If you send me the same video through an email it will NOT have those restrictions and I can include them in our reports.
