THE BIG STORY: Typhoon 18 has strengthened and is now a Tropical Storm named Yagi. It is pulling storms across the Philippines and creating rain events from just south of Manila to Legazpi on Luzon. In addition; Typhoon Shanshan is nearly ready to be pulled into the northern JetStream.

PHILIPPINE weather is expected to be more of the same popup showers for the next 2-3 days with rain events locally because of the storms still being pulled across the nation.

GUAM is returning to normal with HEAVY RAIN now at the extremes of the radar reach as spin-off storms continue to pass through their area.

VIETNAM weather in the north is expected to remain popup showers only. However, from central to southern Vietnam expect HEAVY RAIN as new storms are pulled from the east sea to land. The LPA we have spoken about recently has weakened but become larger! This means that more of the country will be exposed to cyclic rain events due to spin-off storms
from recent typhoons.

We are SERIOUS about leaving Facebook because they refuse to make needed changes to the templates we are forced to use. But in addition I have learned that Mark Zuckerberg has been selling off his shares of stock ownership at a high rate. This is never good news for any company. Additionally, stories are circulating that in addition to your private data being sold; fb is considering the sale of your financial data as well! I will be finding another way to stay in touch with my relatives and will soon close my fb account.

We are experimenting with RSS Feed software to automate when we post. That allows an automatic notification when we update our posts. Much like the fb notification you will automatically get our weather updates. I will keep you informed.
