THE BIG STORY: Mangkhut has arrived and the outer bands are touching our shorelines now. The Path has changed AGAIN! The Strength HAS INCREASED AS SHOWN! Expect it to make full landfall by late morning to afternoon.
PHILIPPINE weather is calm. The outer bands of Mangkhut have NOT YET SATURATED the atmosphere and it is NOT YET RAINING everywhere shown on the SAT VIEW. Doppler Radar would be a LOT BETTER tool to use, but the Govt will not repair those tools or is NOT allowing the weather services to see it!
IF you have not already; You MUST PREPARE NOW: Store enough water and food to last 2 weeks, have flashlights available as power may go out in your area. MOVE OUT OF FLOOD PRONE AREAS NOW! DO NOT GO OUTSIDE DURING THIS CAT4 STORM!
GUAM weather has High Pass-over storms from Mangkhut! Expect more of the same today!
Japan weather is calm with some rain along the shorelines as the JetStream has changed its path because of Mangkhut. As Mangkhut gets involved with the Philippines and gets weaker, the JetStream will return to a normal pattern.
Hong Kong/Macau weather is calm and may remain the same with some popup showers late in the day.
VIETNAM weather remains calm with popup showers at random around the nation, usually in the afternoon.
