THE BIG STORY: Overnight we have a total of FIVE Typhoons in our area! NONE WILL HIT THE PHILIPPINES! Vietnam is being hit HARD with Tropical Depression Bebinca; a new Tropical Depression 22 developed directly over Guam heading north, the group of storms I had predicted would become a typhoon has now developed into Tropical Storm Rumbia headed to China. Finally Tropical Depression Leepi has been shown as TWO storms ALL ALONG! It is now over S Korea and about to be swept away in the JetStream!
PHILIPPINE weather is now calming after being inundated with rain for the last 15 days! The last remaining remnants of these storms is in Ilocos region. However the group of storms I warned about IS coming ashore at Surigao and south. I expect HEAVY RAIN for short periods, IF at all, as these storms are evaporating as the come on land. We have minor indications of rain on Luzon from our data stations and CLEARING with partly sunny skies throughout the remaining country.
GUAM has a new Tropical Depression just formed over it and heading north at 22km/h! Expect HEAVY RAINS at times as the storm turns over Guam with only 56/72km/h winds. The professionals at Weather Center labeled this storm as a CAT5; being so cought up with 5 storms now on the map in our area!
I have NOT seen this much activity in 9 years watching the weather here! This is the SECOND time recently we have had 5 Typhoons in our area!
VIETNAM is being hit with rapid cycles of HEAVY RAIN in the Hanoi area as Bebinca moves along the southern China coast and turns in a Large radius over Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Thailand. Southern Vietnam is not affected to large extent by this storm, we see calming happening there.

I was FORCED to get rid of Microsoft email client yesterday after they did not send two emails because they were too large. They usually notified me of their size before sending, but these new releases did NOT. Then they truncated the emails! I LOST A LOT of the technical details I was sending. I installed Mozilla's Thunderbird email client and hooked up to my 6 email addresses with over 30,000 emails being loaded into it. It works FLAWLESSLY and reports the size of an email BEFORE it is sent.
The program I use to report the weather has been owned by three different companies. IBM is the current owner and they are rewriting the software for the data stations as well as these programs. Yesterday, as I got up to perform my survey of the weather and my normal program WOULD NOT START! I was in PANIC MODE! In addition, because of all the water recently, the internet was CRAWLING AT BEST! I downloaded another program owned by these same companies, but the software has changed enough to make it unusable for our purposes! I had written a LONG email to the new owners help desk and included MANY screenshots and two videos explaining what was wrong and gave my suggestions for improvement. Folks, we ONLY HAVE ONE PROGRAM to do this report! If ANYTHING happens, and it will, we CANNOT report as I normally do. So, all of these tasks are CRITICAL to our survival moving forward! I will Post a blog named "Programmers ONLY" revealing all of the things wrong with the other software and expressing our want to improve the software we use daily. If you see this Blog, understand it was written in an effort to improve our abilities to report the weather and was directed at the owners and programmers responsible for the software. The Blog Post WILL BE LONG and it reveals ALL of the things we must work around daily in order to produce these reports. I will speak frankly about WHY we NEED their program, what has happened over the last 9 years and giving screenshot examples and then, lastly, asking if they may know people who can help finance new data stations! WE NEED A MINIMUM OF 7 ADDITIONAL DATA STATIONS to cover the main islands of the Philippines. Any financial help they know of is NEEDED and APPRECIATED! I am also writing the manufacturer of the Data Stations as MANY (25%) of the 41 Stations we have are NOT REPORTING and the reason may be that their software and firmware have been improved but does not allow for common mistakes when linking up to our data collection centers in the USA! Things like an extra space at the end of a group of numbers will now keep the center from reporting! It gets complicated and somewhat boring, but WE NEED EVERY STATION WE HAVE to WORK as was intended!
Lastly, we NEED Local Weather Watchers who will report local conditions back to me in an email or otherwise. As I improve the Blog Software, it will become easier to communicate back to me. We NEED your text AND a short video if you can do that. Please contact me so that I can register YOU as a Weather Watcher and let me know your local area so I can mark it on a map. We have two people already, one in Mindanao and one on Luzon. This is a BIG COUNTRY, we NEED more volunteers! We MUST know about local flooding and wind damage or power outages, etc. including rain intensity, Light, Moderate or HEAVY. Your names WILL NOT BE SHARED UNLESS YOU ALLOW ME TO SHARE YOUR FIRST NAME ONLY AND YOUR CITY ONLY. Like, "John from Manila says...." Your other PRIVATE information WILL NOT BE SOLD OR USED BY US! By acting as a Weather Watcher, YOU benefit the nation by alerting everyone what the local conditions are. In this way, major issues like FLOODING and WIND or other DAMAGE can be known by other communities so that they might help in your needs. We WANT to grow as a Weather Reporting Tool for the benefit of the Nation. I DO NOT SEEK publicity for me, you may not even know my name! But we are sincere when we say daily, Be Safe! Come and Join with us that we can be a Team of concerned citizens helping the nation!
Be safe.
