Update 8-17-2018 0505hrs;
THE BIG STORY: Leepi is GONE! Bebinca over Vietnam is nearly gone! Leaving a SEVERE RAIN event. Rumbia is nearly gone! Passing into China and the latest storm Soulik from Guam is moving toward Japan. Lastly, I am trying new software from the same group of companies. It has problems, but perhaps we can work around them. I NEED your input!

PHILIPPINE weather looks like we have had a number of passing storms since midnight. I NEED your input on if you agree with this software's interpretation of local conditions! See the sidebar and the PLEASE let me know; did rain occur last night in these areas in green/red and even light blue?

ALL Satellite viewing software looking at conditions on the ground must interpret conditions. They do this using the cloud height! It is done in the IR Mode, meaning we cannot see it, but the software can see many more variables and then assign colors to the areas as it interprets the conditions. NOTICE the DIFFERENCE between this software and our standard software when we look at Vietnam and Myanmar. The other software interpretation of Myanmar is almost unusable! While this software is more fluid and very usable!

It took HOURS to get the video I am presenting. Hopefully I can do it more quickly next time. There are a GREAT MANY FLAWS with this new software! But when I tried to start our standard software, again it would NOT start! So, we MUST have an alternative!

GUAM weather is calming after Soulik moved north. I cannot speak about the southern JetStream because this new software FREEZES and I LOSE IT ALL! So, I am learning to not look around too much, Just get what I NEED and save it, compress it and get ready to merge a number of videos into one video!

VIETNAM weather has HEAVY RAIN in the north and calm weather in the south. The typhoon Bebinca will become a rain event shortly as the storm slows down after coming on shore. Once again, please let me know what you think of this new software. Is it REALLY raining HARD in areas of red and yellow? and is it raining in areas of green?

BLOG NEWS: As described above, I am trying alternative software. Good thing I did NOT try to open the usual software or I would have PANICKED AGAIN when it would NOT start! Also; notice the Doppler Radar from Japan and perhaps even from Taiwan? GRRRRRRR; Where is OUR Doppler Radar? If we had doppler radar we would KNOW if it was raining in any area; that's why it was developed!

Please WATCH, Like & SHARE our Video & fb Page and the Blog https://sirpixalotweather.blogspot.com

Be safe.
